The Education Shop

Welcome to The Education Shop. This online shop has been created by Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) for teachers, lecturers, students and parents who are looking for teaching resources or resources to help them with their studies.

The Education Shop also houses an online archive of articles from Metro and Screen Education magazines. Metro, published by ATOM, is Australia’s oldest continuously published film and media journal. It specialises in Australian, New Zealand and Asian film, television, radio and new media. Screen Education is vital reading for anyone working in the media or education who needs to keep in touch with the very latest in screen media, photography, animation and books; as well as developments in educational software and technologies.

ATOM has over 40 years of experience in catering to Australian educators and The Education Shop now allows us to reach a worldwide market. Items available include books, magazines, DVDs, etc. plus thousands of downloadable teaching resources.

As we deal with schools on a regular basis, we understand that many do not use a credit card for purchasing online teaching resources. For this reason, school purchase orders are welcome at The Education Shop – as well as credit card payments. (Please note that if purchasing downloadable resources, they are instantly accessible only if paid for by credit card. Downloadable teaching resources ordered using a school purchase order number are usually accessible within 1–2 business days.)

Downloadable resources

To access any downloadable resources you have purchased, simply log in to your account within thirty days of placing your order and click the word ‘Download’, which appears next to any downloadable items you have ordered and paid for.

All ATOM study guides, plus Metro and Screen Education articles, are available in hard copies. To order hard copies of these resources, please contact us. Note that hard copies of downloadable teaching resources will incur a surcharge for postage and handling. It will also take several days for you to receive your purchase if we have to send it by post.
